What should I bring with me on a walk?
It’s important that you bring:
Waterproof clothing and a good pair of boots
Drinking water
Packed lunch
A change of shoes for the journey home
A change of clothing in a dry bag (in case of inclement weather!)
How do I book in for a walk?
You can book on via our online booking form, or via text. All the information for doing so can be found here
Do I have to be a member to join you on a walk?
Visitors are welcome to join us for up to three walks before becoming a member.
We find that most people are keen to become members after the first or second walk!
As a member, do I have to attend all walks?
Not at all - you're welcome to join us as frequently as you like.
How do I become a member?

How challenging are the walks?
The long walk varies from 8-12 miles and the alternative walk is around 6-8 miles.
A description of each walk will be published in advance so you can decide which walk suits you.
I have booked for a walk but I cant remember what pick up point I selected - how do I find out?
If you booked in online then the pick-up point you selected will be in your confirmation email. Please search your emails for "Claremont Rambling Club" (don't forget your spam folder!)
If you booked via text the pick-up point you selected will be in your sent message.
